Venting!
Okay so right about now anyone who is remotely associated with a social networking site has now heard about Joseph Kony and his crimes. The thing that’s seriously bothering me is that I’m now seeing how far our society has fallen. People bashing other’s for supporting Kony2012; it’s sickening the way people are treating other’s because of it. People putting others down saying “this has been going on forever why do you care now!” well because we just found out; if you knew all this time why didn’t you bring it to anyone’s attention or “these kids are murderer’s why not put your money towards a better cause”, “I’m sure all those kids could of overthrown that one man!” well guess what jackass this cause is amazing and yes those kids are killing other’s, but it’s by force and really you think a group of scared CHILDREN is capable of coming up with a plan to overthrown not just one man but all the people helping that one man. Yes, he is the main focus but do you really think he could do it all alone? NO! Here’s a great one I also heard “the government claims they don’t have money for us but they can help another country!” here’s the thing about the government and money; yes, we have money but not enough for us to be happy were American and materialistic compared to other poor countries; most of us are living pretty high on the horse in comparison. Sure, there are things we may want or need but we can make due (most of us can) while these people are in far, far worse conditions than us. These are the people who who truly fill my heart with disgust because you’re to selfish, self-involved and just a plain ass hat to want to help anyone other than yourselves! Now I’m sure some of you will read this and think I’m just another person jumping on the bandwagon about Kony for the “popular vote” and which I am a supporter of Kony2012 but I’m actually doing this because I care, because I can give up some of my time and money to help other’s who are helpless.
